      1. If your case is complicated, then prepare a note for yourself so that you can explain each and every detail of the case without missing out points. Carry a copy of all the relevant documents and evidence.

      2. Make sure that your advocate knows all the facts and let him decide what is relevant and what is not. From personal experience, many clients skip important details/documents which they believe to be minor, but many times these minor things have huge legal impact and can change the entire direction of the case.

      3. Do not hide things which may go against you. If the advocate is informed beforehand what can go against him then he has a chance to be prepared. But if you donโ€™t inform him, mid-way through your case the other side will bring it up and your advocate will get caught off guard.

      4. Regarding privacy, share only the information relevant to the case.

You can register a complaint without informing or involving your parents. However, it is very likely that they will eventually find out.

Inform your parents. File a police case against the bouncer under POCSO.

If you have already filed consumer complaint then donโ€™t send legal notice now. It is generally sent before filing complaints so that the other side has a chance to settle the matter without escalation to the court.

Actually having both gift deed and will may be counter intuitive, because validity of one may be challenged based on the other. Like if a property has been gifted, why would the person mention it in their will. Mentioning it in will would imply that at the time of death or making the will, the donor believed that it was part of his estate. This casts reasonable doubt on the validity of the documents and the transfer of property.

Someone wanting to challenge both could try to make out a case that the donor was forced to sign these agreements, or probably some foul play was involved or the donor was not having the mental capacity to understand the agreements he was signing at the relevant time.

You need to either serve notice period mentioned in your appointment letter or pay compensation in lieu of notice period.

The employer is just threatening legal action to scare you. Taking legal action is expensive, so your employer most likely will not take any legal action.

Write emails to create a paper trail which you can use in your case as evidence. Write to CRED that about the coupon and ask for cash back. Chats or calls you have with customer care are generally outsourced to call centres etc., who are not Swiggy employees. So you need to send them email to prove that you have contacted them directly about the issue.

If they donโ€™t reply within 2-3 days send notice and file consumer complaint.

Depends on whether you will have to do any alteration to the property. If the property has space for installing the AC without making any alteration then permission wonโ€™t be required, however, if you will have to make alterations, then you need permission. If you do it without his approval, then most likely he will use that as an excuse to not return your security deposit.

In any event, you should inform the licensor that you are installing AC on email and get his approval.
