Just move to other home if u and ur husband are in good terms. Time will heal all these petty fumes. If u go dv or 498a without substance (and that means clear evidences or long running and not one-offs) – they can also make u run around court procedures for years

Eventually u will not have any happy life, forget about happy marriage itself)

Let her work in Bangalore, and you move to hometown to take care of your father. Meet each other once in a while. Many couples do this and dont think of coercion or dv situation here

If things go south, they and press charges for criminal breach of trust and employment bond. So just pay up – and if possible as the new employer to compensate as ‘joining bonus’

                  How to explain 🙁

Indian courts takes Girl side petition very earnestly- and in the name of ‘saving girls future’ can give early decision to grant you divorce, so that you can start your remarried life soon .

If ur opposite side doesnt turn up , they can even expedite ex-parte (or one-sided) judgement.

Either case, as a girl if u show eagerness toward divorce – judge may tilt the case in ur favor. Had u been a male petitioner- story is completely inverse !

He can deny, but matrimonial laws favor females . High chance you may get one-sided decision on your side.

But again, try to become financially independent. as usual, your Mayka may not support your or start frustrating you even more.

                      NAL , but still :-

File annulment saying your consent was not taken, parents forced you etc, there is no consummation yet – no evidences required and will take 6-12 months to setlle. In the meantime move out and focus on your economic survival , and start life afresh.

If u want to punish – put all this plus 498a and DV . But you may not like to spoil their lives forever

                      Choice is yours

Bit of contrarian view, but there is nothing wrong in your father getting remarried. He has his personal life & space – same like yours. So you kinda coercing him to divorce is really bad. And there is nothing legit legal involved here .

You will or will not be able to bond with your step-mom, but do manage your expectations as you grow up. She is your father’s wife and a maid or bonded laborer. Today its your step-mom, tomorrow it may be your room-mates,
                          In-laws and so on.

Try to nurture and live with your Inner peace – which shouldn’t be dependent on others.

You can do your part of chores and cook etc , feed yourself and build your social life & friend circles etc. And if you still cannot handle it more, ur are grown up enough to go for boarding school or colleges and later live a independent life, while avoiding this so-called frustration altogether

You talk to a lawyer and file informatory petition in local court as a precautionary measure. They can put up some strong points to safeguard you
If things go worse. Also start collecting hard evidences

Settle it abroad where courts are pretty neutral on such issues. Moment u get it registered in India, u open up yourself to countless areas to be exploited by opposite side

Talk to HC lawyer, sometimes they ‘reference’ the case and it speeds up.
