Who honestly believes that police even looks at evidence before filing chargesheet. If that were the case, there would be no need to approach high courts for quashing.
I’m contending that there wouldn’t be a need for quashing if the police actually did its job.
UWhat I’m trying to get at is –Why create a system with loop-holes where people who’ve alleged to have committed a crime routinely run away until their lawyers can file for anticipatory and interim bail?
Why can’t we have a system where police doesn’t get to arrest people without incontrovertible proof having been found?
