UI agree with you 1000%. I’m a free speech extremist as well. I’m the guy who would file a case against Will Smith for punching me for mere words spoken in reference to his wife. I’m the guy who supports burning of flags, religious books, whatever you may like as a sign of protest or even circus. But that’s really besides the point and if and when it reaches the SC I hope they rule in favor of free speech — that’s really not what I’m pointing to – I’m pointing to the fact that India loves indulging these internet personalities and make them into some sort of rockstars.Ranveer can’t keep it straight – either he believes in the Indian bureaucratic process and is available for questioning OR he should say he fears he will be arrested for police and judicial incompetence. The Police, Lower courts, even high courts are not institutions that should get to decide what constitutes free speech in this country. That is only SC’s prerogative. That’s all I’m saying.
