What about what I said is incorrect specifically ? Does a landlord have a legal obligation to continue to rent to the same tenant after the agreement expires ? Or is it not possible for him to find another tenant who is willing to follow the society process ?

The reason rents are high in most parts of Mumbai is because demand is strong relative to supply. It is basic economics.

Sure, a landlord would prefer to keep an existing good tenant, but they would probably not go to court against the society management if they can easily find another one.

It is entirely up to you, but for most people , it would not be worth the hassle. The owner has no obligation to continue to rent to you. So, if you are unwilling to follow the society process, he could decide not to enter into a new agreement with you.

You have to be proactive. File a report with the police. Escalate with both the car company and the insurer. Reach out to social media influencers to publicize the matter if you have to. Neither the manufacturer nor the insurance company has any incentive to take the matter forward. If you don’t take strong action , they will just keep kicking the can down the road. The car caught fire when it was under the custody of the service centre. Ask them for a written report to share with the police and insurer and escalate to the car company ( not the dealer) if the dealer is not helping.

Have you filed a FIR ? Have you initiated the insurance claim ? It is possible the insurance company will claim there was a manufacturing defect in the car/battery that caused the fire and try to pass off liability to the manufacturer.

If this is A’s self acquired property, she is free to gift it to anyone she wants.

It seems like you are over 18 years old. Just move out of your parents’ house and start living independently. They can’t force you to stay in their house if you don’t want to.

What is the size of the company ? Most big firms would have their bases covered legally before they do something like this.

For what reason were you terminated ? Were you actually working or suspended and being investigated for the period you were not paid ?

Try to solve it on a personal level. Most judges would not be sympathetic to sons filing cases against their widowed mothers.

4 lakhs + just sounds ridiculous. It is a fairly standard document. You don’t need a hotshot lawyer to obtain one. Go to the District Court premises and you will find several lawyers or even touts there who should be willing to do it for a few thousands.

The most important fact is that the will is registered. What is the date on the will and on what date was it registered ?

What do the witnesses to the will have to say ?

I am assuming all the assets willed were self-acquired. If that is not the case, all legal heirs have equal share in assets that your grandparents inherited.

Which bank is it ? If my bank had treated me in such a manner, I myself would have closed my accounts with them and moved my business elsewhere.

Why would you still want to be a customer of such a bank ?

Generally anything prepared from the resin or flower of the cannabis plant is illegal. Use of leaves and seed is permitted.

In any case, avoid consuming bhaang , or even liquor and tobacco in public. You never know who you might end up offending.

They probably have you flagged as a problem/unprofitable account. Don’t be surprised if they kick you off claiming violation of their return and refund policy.

This is standard practice these days from Amazon. Maybe you have a genuine case, but they also get a lot of fraudulent and unjustified returns.

Have you returned other items from Amazon recently ?

You will probably have to approach a consumer forum or courts to get your money back.

Think about the worst case. The police could claim you knowingly handed over the keys to someone who was drunk and therefore have ultimate liability. Just prepare a defence for that narrative.
