Dfor future, in case police calls, the safest answer is to say you are not around. and will visit in some time. Use that time to figure out things. I have seen people get arrested walking in, and didnt get chance for anticipatory bail.DSO for such people, when police calls, you can always say you are in meeting and can come within 2 hours from work. After 2 hours you should call and say you will come by another 2 hours as your tyre got punctured or so.By the time she would be tired waiting and go home. Police wont be bothered as they are their full time and is not waiting for you.
