January 17, 2025 at 4:26 amThere is no personal bankruptcy in India. In any case even if one existed it would be very very painful. You canโt just write off your debt. You will be put under an IRP who will decide what you can own and not own. Future wages/income will goto IRP who will give you an allowance until debts are paid off. Remember taxes and statutory dues cannot be written off.FFierceanirudh9723

January 16, 2025 at 10:47 amCourt won’t ask husband to find a job of certain income level. It will simply pass orders and then husband has to figure out how to fulfil the obligations under that court order or risk contempt proceedings.FFierceanirudh9723

January 16, 2025 at 8:55 amNo because your current passport is not lost. When you go to renew the current passport, they stamp it as cancelled and issue you a new one. They don’t ask for all the previous passports. Show this police report only at places where they ask for all previous passports (some embassies ask for it at the time of visa application). But it’s important to file a police report so that you have a record of the loss just in case anyone tries to misuse it.FFierceanirudh9723

Engage a lawyer and respond to the legal notice.

January 15, 2025 at 9:23 amHe is sending fake gPay screenshot. Which is fraud (criminal offence). So the landlord can file criminal cases as well. And for the tenant to file criminal cases, he will have to engage a lawyer and spend money. Something that he doesn’t have. -
