You will not be able to get the money back legally. You can report the corruption though. But please note that while accepting a bribe is a crime, so is paying one.

Depending on the amount of money involved, you need to decide whether you should engage a lawyer or not.

Consumer complaints can be lodged online at https://e-jagriti.gov.in and you can also do it yourself.

You definitely can make a contract online and don’t need a lawyer for it.

But, if you do similar work for various clients, it would be best to get a standard draft contract prepared by an advocate which you could use with slight modifications based on requirements of the client. Alternatively, you could also have the draft contract prepared by AI and get an advocate to review it for you for any mistakes or improvements. Reason I recommend this is that from my experience AI still makes many mistakes when it comes to legal issues.

Why are you doing police verification in India when you are outside India? Go to the Indian Embassy of the country you live in. If your existing Indian passport does not have any issues, then police verification is not required.

Make a complaint to the police in writing and tell them to register FIR. If local police does not cooperate then send the Complaint to the SP.

The law is that when a person dies intestate (without a will), all legal heirs are entitled to an equal share in the property including the females.

How much you guys want to take or give up is totally up to you. There is no standard practice in our country. Some people fully relinquish their share. Some happily take whatever they are offered. Some fight for years for their rights in courts. Some commit murder for a larger share.

If you don’t plan on going back to UAE, then you can forget about the loan and ignore the bank. Legally there is nothing much they can do to you in India.

But if you plan on returning then it is best to work out a solution with the bank. If you want to return in future, write an email to the bank and explain your situation to them. Ask them to restructure the loan and temporarily pause the repayment schedule.

A reserved category person can get a general seat if they qualify for it. Reservation is an additional opportunity given to them and does not exclude them from general merit list if they get sufficient marks.

In litigation, unless you start in a good firm, your starting salary would be low. You can do things on the side like some drafting work etc. to earn extra cash. It depends on the opportunities you get.

However, things change as you gain experience and prove your worth in the cases you handle. Also, once you start your own practice you would be able to earn much more. But it takes time and patience.

Ask your mother to file for divorce in case your father has withdrawn his case. In the application for maintenance tell court to proceed ex-parte as against your father.

Regarding the bank account, tell your mother to visit the bank and find details of the account. Also, she can get the bank to issue her a new ATM Card and change all the details like phone number etc.

Try finding someone in the High Court or City Civil Court Bar Room who may be willing to sign. In my case, the partners of the firm where I had joined signed it.

Don’t worry about anything and register a FIR with the police. It is the boy who should be worried about his future and not you.

As per Article 9 of the Indian Constitution and Section 9 of Citizenship Act, if someone acquires citizenship of another state, they will cease to be a citizen of India. However, that being said, a person from Nepal can visit India without any visa. The reason she is apprehended is because she is still using Indian identification documents after acquiring Nepal citizenship. This is a very serious offence (maximum sentence possible is life imprisonment) and under normal circumstances there would be no good solutions.

However, since India has good relations with Nepal, you should immediately get in touch with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs and Embassy of Nepal, and explain the whole situation to them. Let them sort it out amongst themselves. There is a chance of them intervening and helping you out if they are convinced that your friend made a genuine mistake.
