March 4, 2025 at 8:35 amYou should have checked the property before purchase. There is nothing you can do now as the auctions by bank is on “as is where is” basis.HHappyshark11

Find out and attach a copy of that document with your reply.A enquiry does not imply that your passport application is rejected, unless the letter specifically states so.

March 4, 2025 at 7:31 amStop thinking that what is reported in the media is the extent of what happens in any court. The latent case only takes 5 mins of one courtroom having 2 judges. On average, 50-60 cases would be listed before a 2-judge bench of the Supreme Court every day. Now, to take up the most of the important cases mentioned above, it requires a constitution bench (5 judges or more). That would mean for one hearing in these cases, 3 regular courtrooms would not preside on that day. So to conduct one hearing in these cases, around 150 regular cases would get adjourned, and it will take several dates for any of these matters to get done. Also, there are many more cases requiring a constitution bench which are pending from before. For some reason, after the 1990s to around 2011, hardly any CJI set up constitutional benches for dealing with these important issues. 2013 onwards, they started picking up pace, and DY Chandrachud’s tenure was where the highest number of Constitution Bench cases were taken up and finished. But most of these issues were pending for more than 20 years when he took them up for hearing. The pendency of these important & regular cases is still huge. There are many more important cases pending apart from the ones you have listed.
If we want faster resolution of these issues, then we need appointment of more judges. It is not the Court’s fault that they can’t cope with the volume of cases they have. It is the government who is not setting up new courts / appointing more judges. For a long time, the legal community has asked the government to set up another branch of the Supreme Court but forget setting up new courts; even existing vacancies in courts are not filled.

March 3, 2025 at 8:17 pmBased on the facts mentioned by you, your uncles should not be able to claim a share in your property. The property was self acquired by your grandfather for you, and you are the absolute owner (I hope he signed the agreement as your guardian, as contracts with minors are void as per the Contract Act). It is not like this was a sham transaction to hide true ownership for tax evasion purposes, etc., making it a benami transaction. The law regarding benami transactions is quite complicated, but they don’t seem to have any legal case. Also, the limitation for filing suit for immovable property is 12 years. In your case, more than 14 years have elapsed since you have become the owner, and they have not taken action despite being aware of it. That could also be a good defence to any suit filed by them.
If you don’t reside in Chhattisgarh and don’t want to go back there, I would recommend you find a buyer and sell the property. You can wait for a while if you think rates will go up, but make sure to visit the property at least once every year. Ensure that no one trespasses or illegally occupies it, as this is a major problem in India.
Regarding gold and stocks money, how did they take it? Was there a registered will? Further legal action would depend on the facts of your case.

March 3, 2025 at 7:44 pmMost genuine lawyers do not take full amount at the start. Mostly lawyers charge advance for drafting & filing the case and thereafter per hearing basis or milestone basis. But it depends on the case and the lawyer too. I would also recommend you to never pay a lawyer you met online the full amount at the start. Most people online are out to scam you (probably won’t even be a real lawyer).HHappyshark11

March 3, 2025 at 7:37 pmJust report it the police. If they are objecting to CCTV camera so much without cause then they might be involved in some illegal activity and don’t want to get it recorded. You don’t have to worry about legal troubles as long as your camera can’t record inside their premises. Even if they file a false complaint, you will just need to show the recording and everything will get cleared up.But you should be careful of the goons they get. Best to gather some evidence and file a case against them for harassment and criminal intimidation. That should put them in their place.

March 3, 2025 at 7:28 pmNo one will trust you to make payments in a case involving such a small amount. Any advocate will think you are going to make them work and then not going to pay.HHappyshark11

March 3, 2025 at 7:18 pmProblem is not that you won’t pay but even the cost of drafting in this case would far exceed the claim amount. If you want to pursue this, the you can file a complaint yourself on https://e-jagriti.gov.inNo advocate will take up a case involving such a low amount.

March 3, 2025 at 7:09 pmIf your CCTV camera is able to record things inside their premises then that would be a breach of their privacy. That being said, they got no right to ask you to remove the CCTV camera entirely when it is located in your property and directed at the road. But you will need to adjust the angle so as to not record anything in their house. If they harass you or try to threaten you then try to get a recording of it and just report the issue to police.

March 3, 2025 at 3:42 pmSince when has the High Court proceeding been going on? Does your FIR mention all the evidence you claim to have? It is quite rare for stay to be granted in such a matter without hearing your side of the case, and particularly when you are saying that you have sufficient evidence against him.March 3, 2025 at 3:24 pm in reply to: Legal angle and risk conversations with suicidal and schizophrenic friend who I am even cutting off now #42988HHappyshark11
