If they are doing construction work, then it is very likely that they have all the required permits. As per Noise pollution rules, construction activity is prohibited between 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. So legally, they are not doing anything wrong.

If you want to check if they have all permits, file RTIs with BMC, MHADA, MMRDA, etc. (all involved authorities) and ask for all permissions granted. You can also complain with the State Pollution Control Board to see if their work is compliant with all the requirements.

You can relax about your safety; these are very common things, and developers probably won’t even bother with you.

It is best for you to not get involved with him anymore. You never know what a person with mental health issues may do (it is not limited to self harm and he could also be a threat to your safety).

Keeping in mind that he has been clinically diagnosed with mental issues, it is very likely that no action will be taken by the police unless the family decides to file a FIR. But, for abetment to suicide you must actively instigate, encourage or aid with the suicide. So it should be fine as long as you cooperate with the investigation.

If he messages something like he is trying to kill himself, then immediately inform the same to police. Reply to the message with something like don’t do it or seek help and leave it at that. Don’t overly engage with him.

You will need to find out the all details from the municipal corporation, power company involved & electricity board by filing RTI Application.

          Legal remedies :-

          1. Civil Suit seeking compensation for illegal occupation of land and a mandatory injunction for removal of the structure.

          2. If the government or power company has acquired your land (or part of the land) without following the legal procedure and giving fair compensation, you can demand compensation under Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

          3. If RTI reveals that some approvals etc. were granted illegally then you can challenge it in a Writ Petition.

          4. You can also file police case for trespassing, though I doubt this will work.

As mentioned by others, 2nd marriage without divorce with the 1st wife would be void and she will not be a legal heir to the estate of the deceased.

If the woman has made fake id of your father and using it to post photos online, you can file a complaint for impersonation (under Section 66D of IT Act) and defamation.

Apart from this you can file civil suit for damages for mental harassment and ask court for injunction against her.

You can relax.. the amount you are receiving is too low to be of concern. In fact, the sum total of all these would still not cross the minimum taxable amount of 12 lakh. However, if TDS is being deducted by people making payments to you, then it’s best for you to file Income Tax Return as you would be eligible for refund of TDS which has been deducted.

Has the police completed its investigation into the FIR and filed a charge sheet? Ideally, this should have been done by now, unless the High Court has granted a stay against the FIR.

The trial will take place in a trial court (Magistrate’s Court) and not in the High Court. Your husband must have filed a petition for quashing the FIR under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) in High Court, alleging that you have made a false complaint. The High Court will have referred the case for mediation. If the mediation fails, the High Court will continue to hear and decide the quashing petition on merits.

If your husband is convicted in the criminal case, you can report it to the Medical Council, which will take appropriate action. Whether his license is canceled or suspended will depend on the specific facts of the case and the crime committed.

Why do you not take responsibility for caring for your mother? It is easy to blame others while not doing anything yourself.

If your mother is a senior citizen or is unable to maintain herself, she has the legal right to claim maintenance from her children. She can file a case under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Additionally, past property transfers to children can be nullified, and the property can be returned to the parents if the children fail to take care of their parents.

Yes. Their waiter serves that bottle to you along with a glass while you are sitting in their chair and enjoying the ambience. You are not buying the bottle from a retail shop but receiving service from the restaurant, so they can charge you more.

Yes. Restaurants can charge you more than MRP. MRP is maximum retail price. It applies to retail shops and not to restaurants which falls under the category of providing service.

File a formal complaint with the bank and demand that they return the money. Also the policy / schemes suggested by these people are always the worst of all. So make sure to get your money out.

If they don’t agree, file complaint with RBI ombudsman.

Alternatively, you could also file a consumer complaint.

File a Police Complaint for cruelty and dowry demand against the husband’s family. No need to be scared.

Maharashtra government does not issue new liquor licenses for stores. If you want one, you will have to get an existing license from somebody and it will cost you several crores just to get the license.

Has any official action (legal) been taken to fill up the pond? As mentioned in the other comment, the process is very complicated and requires permissions from various departments of the government. It is not easy for any individual or group of people to do something like this without the support of your local politicians and municipality. In any event, before any action is taken several surveys etc. will need to take place and there will be many opportunities to oppose it.

Your erstwhile employer is simply delaying the matter. If you want to recover the amount take legal steps quickly as 2 years or more have already passed. Limitation period for monetary claims is 3 years after which you won’t be able to recover the unpaid salary.

You will need to send him a legal notice and thereafter, if he fails to pay, you will need to file a summary suit. Confirm with your lawyer if you can file in your case in labour court, but I doubt it.

How much it will cost you entirely depends on the lawyer you hire. But you can also recover reasonable costs incurred by you in the court proceeding along with your outstanding salary with interest.
