January 26, 2025 at 6:13 pmPlease do understand the legal definition of ancestral property. Just because it belongs to grandfather, it does not become ancestral.**Under Hindu Succession Act, 1956 any property that has been inherited from 4 generations of male ancestors is ancestral property**
What are the rules that qualify any property as ancestral?

January 15, 2025 at 10:42 amGet a lawyer to respond to the legal notice. If what you is true, they don’t have a leg to stand on. However fighting a big company in courts can be expensive. So do remember that.January 14, 2025 at 1:50 pm in reply to: Detained in India for eVisa Overstay: Seeking Advice on Fine Appeal and Next Steps #74387MMegamaster2414

January 14, 2025 at 1:38 pmExcuse that “I did not know” is not a legal defence per se. At most, it is an appeal to discretion of the Officer. So that is your best bet.You don’t know have regular legal protection from search and seizure at immigration/customs checkpoints.
You clearly know that you were abusing the system with “Visa runs”.
Just pay the fines, take your loss and move on.
