You and your life choices have nothing to do with his sickness. Pure emotional manipulation.

Are they selling that property? Sometimes the buyer asks for NOC from all potential inheritance claimants to make sure they are not dragged to court under the guise of claiming inheritance. Many relatives file nuisance suits even though they don’t have claim just to spoil the deal.

So fresh NOC gives the buyer peace of mind that they won’t be screwed over.

Have a conversation with them. If required, have your own lawyer involved in drafting the NOC.

You are a dumb 19 year old who thinks they know better. We all were 19 once and we all were the same. Stop regurgitating this.

Unless they can pinpoint what exactly is the data you stole AND that data is actually found in your possession, nothing can be proven.

Once again, technically law is on your side. However keeping them in dark about your next steps is the best way to avoid retaliation. Let your brain lead, not ego! All the best.

Unless they spent money to train you specifically (example: airline sending pilots for training), non competes are not enforceable in India. You have a right to livelihood.

Tip: Do not under any circumstances disclose your new employer or other details that can hint about it. Not even to your best friend in office. Tell them you got a job in Dubai or another believable story. Do not update your LinkedIn till 6 months after joining the new employer.

While legally any decent lawyer will win this fight for you, why even let it get there! Be smart.

                    A. Treatment.
                    B. Treat the 40k as expensive lesson. There is no “legal” route to get that money back without wrecking your mental health and spending more money.

What a dumb advice. Joint lockers are convenient. Only the operation has to be “either party” and nominee as “survivor”.

Depends on what is the definition of toilet area. Certainly stalls and urinals are off limit. However any area that’s for washing just hands or is just the door to corridor that leads to toilet area etc. No.

You will have to apply for the regular tourist (T) visa. You are ineligible for eVisa, so will need to apply for regular visa.

OP. What you are dealing with is not your fault and happen far to often that Police are familiar with these situations. Here is what you should do.

99% of these Romeos back off under the threat of consequences. Go the nearest Police Station and narrate the situation there. They will most likely not file an FIR. But they will definitely put the fear of god in him. And that should be enough. And your goal here is to got him off your case.

Do not be afraid of seeking help from Police. They will help. You may take a friend along with your for support if you want.
