NIn many renewals they reissue passport with post police verification. The verification may fail for many reasons. In such cases passport may issue a showcause notice, but the person may miss seeing it.
He may not even be aware that verification failed and notice issued, he still has the passport. In such cases how to check the validity of the passport?
