I would refrain from suggesting anything to you since you are a minor. The least I can recommend is to start building a reading habit. Also, please talk to your parents or ask them to arrange a session with a career counselor.

Self Defense : Yes, a person can claim self-defense, but only if the act committed was proportionate to the threat. In your case, a girl was slapping your friend. The right thing for him to do at that moment was to leave the place immediately, note down the number plate, and file a complaint. Instead, he chose to hit her back.
Look OP, Iโ€™m in no way supporting the girl here, but claiming self-defense in a country with women-centric laws is difficult. You need solid evidence and witnesses. This case could drag on for a long time, so ask your friendโ€™s family to be prepared. If possible, try to negotiate with the other party by showing them any proof you have and offering a sincere apology. I know what Iโ€™m saying may sound like surrendering, but we canโ€™t ignore the fact that your friendโ€™s family is poor and honestly, they might not be able to afford the legal expenses.

Please refrain from taking any action as his parents are present. Kindly send a text expressing your concern and reach out when you can.

I am not a medical professional, so I don’t know about this. But it seems you have little knowledge on this, so I will be very happy if you further help OP in this regard.

                          Final year law student here,
Avoid legal hassle, you already know that they are like rowdy types, which clearly means that they have no value for life, but you are a human, you have responsibilities, and avoid these criminals at any cost, as even if you take any legal step, the case is not that strong, and they will easily come out from the jail and will definitely make your life hell. There is no proper law and order in this country. This country has already gone to hell, better take care of your family and try to avoid all these situations.
One thing you can do is buy a good, expensive ANC headphone for your sister. This will be the perfect thing since you are living in a rental, so no structural change is possible, so headphones are the best way.
Avoid the hassles of the police and legal system. In India, victims often bear the consequences.

You can do nothing if you don’t have money. Secondly, work hard until you leave this country because there is a term in insurance, i.e., total damage, and India falls under that category.

Considering you don’t have money, here are some suggestions.

                            1. Avoid people.

                            2. Avoid random confrontation.

                            3. Minimal use of public transport

                            4. Don’t indulge in any kind of argument with a public officer.

                            5. Don’t produce, baby. (Not a good place to continue your generation)

The above text is not a legal response but rather a mere suggestion.

                            Answering your question

*”Also, how can we fight back in court?” And how can we bring him back to the court again?? As we know, every day a policeman does many things that are not legal.”*

Money, party funding, can solve most of the problems in India.

That is not your problem, kindly stay away. Also refuse her politely.
Ask her to contact Probono lawyer.
