May 4, 2025 at 2:04 amThis is laughable. The judge should throw the case away since she already signed an MoU. Seems like she wants more money. Your advocate should say that she is harassing and push for trial. In trial they will ask her to produce proofs, and in the absence of proofs, your family will be found innocent. Depending on how the judgement goes, you can go for punitive damages. What a fine piece of “abala nari”.UUrbanranjan8949

April 30, 2025 at 8:36 pmNo they do not. Only mutual divorces are honored. And that too, the judgement should state a particular verbiage.UUrbanranjan8949

Refer to an experienced attorney. If your wife participated in the divorce proceedings in California, and a divorce as well as the no alimony are accepted, she cannot file in India. High courts will take your side. I hope you had a mutual divorce in Cali and not a one party divorce. If it’s a one party divorce, then she has a right.

April 27, 2025 at 5:13 pmWow. So the girl can press charges even after she’s 60 if the guy makes her mad. Considering their ages are close, some kind of reforms should be made to alleviate grey zones.POSCO was made so a 30 or 40 yr old person doesn’t take advantage of 15 or 16 yr girl. Generally speaking. For someone who is 18, and trying to talk with a 17 yr old classmate should not be POSCO- although the law makes it that way. Just an opinion. In this case, guy can and should be tried for sexual harassment, not POSCO.
