VPassport office will issue new passport based on old passport. If you want to change name in the new passport, you will have to file for a name change application.
It doesn’t matter what’s on your aadhaar, your birth certificate, your marriage certificate. For passport office, name on old passport will continue on new one until you change name (it’s absurd, but it’s the only way)
I had to do exactly this.
My birth certificate has a Q. My first passport had a K. I tried to get it changed to a Q when I applied for new passport (not renew) because all my other docs had a Q. VTBH, the OP posts on Kuro sounded like a conspiracy theorist.Not to say that p*do and groomer gangs (or Kuro) don’t exist, but the way OP was using random chat screenshots as “evidence” of this entire gang and their operations was a bit farfetched. It was ranting half the time, had chaotic descriptions, and made some far reaching claims (the latest post on the Avik-KIIT-Kuro nexus really took the cake.)
The lone warrior taking on a just cause, with no support from law and order machinary makes it even more sus.
VThe higher courts have issued guidelines which take time for lower courts and lawyers to understand. My friend’s lawyer too was unsure, then another lawyer advised to cite higher courts.
