February 15, 2025 at 11:08 amHis mental health is declining. His day to day is being affected. Not everyone is equipped to be with someone with BPD.He’s not asking how he can stay with his partner, his question is how can he safeguard himself legally incase she commits suicide.
If God forbid she commits suicide and her family named him in a case or something, the poor guy is done for.
Also if he does stay with her & she’s not willing to be compliant with medication and therapy, all of this is pointless.
Patients with BPD are often non-compliant with medication. I have had this patients tell me that they feel lifeless and dead. They crave and miss the mania.

Doc here. Unless she’s on proper meds, nothing is changing.
You have zero recourse incase she does something to herself so best to exit the picture.February 3, 2025 at 6:00 am in reply to: Seeking Urgent Advice: My 16-Year-Old Sister Is Being Forced Into Marriage, and I’m Helpless #61040WWisebear8536

January 26, 2025 at 4:47 pmI’m a woman and I sympathize with Indian men so deeply. If you can’t get out of the country, don’t marry a woman who isn’t your equal in education and work status. If a woman insists on being a housewife, you already know what the chances of that going south are.
Women who take advantage of decent men and the system are a stain on women everywhere. There are honest cases but few and far in between.
But yeah, try and get out of India. The government really doesn’t give a crap about you guys sadly. It’s the only way to remotely protect yourselves.

January 18, 2025 at 1:58 amWhat’s wrong with you? It’s people like you who want to keep India stuck in the dark ages.If he gave each person 3 acres while he was alive and there are 4 siblings then each sibling should rightfully get 5.5 acres total.
Why should the son get to claim it all and the daughters get nothing more? You shouldn’t be worried about the land, you should be worried about your archaic thinking.

January 14, 2025 at 10:03 pmContinuous stay in India on each entry should not exceed 180 days.
> Maximum stay in India in one calendar year on an e-Tourist Visa or paper Tourist Visa or both, shall be restricted to 180 days.I have a paper Visa and E-Visa. Both say the same. 1 for a year, other for 5 years.
This is the exact wording from my Visas copied and pasted. If you plan to exceed the 180 days in calendar year on the 179th day you should have filed with FRRO.
Pay the fine and move on. This was your mistake/oversight.

January 13, 2025 at 4:59 pmBefore you involve a lawyer and spend more money on something you should have to spend money on, try a good old fashioned threat and be willing to follow through.Tell him if he does not pay you back immediately or at least make a payment plan that you will reach out to the HR at his company and inform him of this breech of payment.
That should set a fire under him. If that doesn’t work then get a lawyer to send out a demand.
