Did they sisters have succession or legal heir certificate or probate of a will through which the property was transferred to them? If yes, then you are safe. If not, then the title of the property is defective.February 6, 2025 at 12:04 pm in reply to: Company Holding My Final Settlement Hostage Over a SIM Card — What Should I Do? #59202FFierceanirudh9723

February 6, 2025 at 12:04 pmIf the company owns the SIM, they can simply block and get a new SIM (mostly free of cost) for the same number. I don’t know what leverage you are talking about. You have no leverage. You will have no leverage even after you get your documents. Whenever you submit these documents in new company, they will ref check these with the startup. Best to part ways in amicable manner. Return the SIM. Don’t play stupid games.February 6, 2025 at 8:16 am in reply to: My dad’s business recently shut down, and now he’s in a huge amount of debt 2cr . I simply do not receive or pay money via UPI. It’s not worth the hassle.February 5, 2025 at 9:52 am in reply to: Company sent me Absconding notice after I served 40 days notice instead of 90 days #60215FFierceanirudh9723

February 5, 2025 at 2:34 amThere are enough judgements of the court that asking for repayment of debt cannot be considered abetment of suicide. Also people who threaten suicide rarely do it. Apply as much pressure as possible. Involve other family members of this person. Seize assets if you can.If the loan was given through banking channel and if there is an underlying contract about monthly interest payment and principle amount then talk to an advocate to file a civil suit immediately. See if this can be turned into fraud and criminal complaint be filed. If the friend can issue a cheque (even post dated) take it. If it bounces that’s a criminal offence.
Good luck.

February 3, 2025 at 2:41 amSince when did stealing become okay? You have received funds that don’t belong to you. Work with your organisation to return the same. Sooner or later they will find out and then come after you. Books of accounts and bank entries are reconciled at period intervals. -
