Last time we went to register FIR in police station for a lost phone , we were shooed away and even threatened to be put in jail .

He can do two things:- wait for 2 months, get his bonus which he deserve . If his present job is good he can ask for a raise and show his kotak offer and maybe get a better raise here .

Or

If ICICI workplace is toxic , he can resign . Also he can make bonus in like eight month in kotak bank.

So he has to take a call. Whatever he does , don’t burn the bridges as old colleague can be helpful later in carrer

Law pata hoga tabhi bolenge na.

My understanding is only at a naka they can check documents or stop you if you have broken a rule or jumped traffic lights .
