March 26, 2025 at 2:53 amAs per law, reaction must be proportional to action.
So , if someone attacks you with knife/gun it shows intent to kill and you can do the same. But if someone slaps you, you can’t kill that person.
Sometimes one can beat you to death but the burden of proof is on you to prove the attack was with deadly intent.
Also it’s in your favour if the incident happens at your house rather than the attackers house.

March 24, 2025 at 6:16 pmCreating will is the only thing you do now.
The other documents like legal heir certificate, succession certificate are needed only in absence of a Will and even so they are applied after the death of the individual.Have you read up on gifting of MFs on zerodha website?

March 24, 2025 at 4:44 pm100 Nominee doesn’t mean you get to keep the money.Your siblings or other legal heirs can still claim it.
Registered Will is safe.
The safest option would be to transfer these units to your name while your mother is still around.

March 23, 2025 at 1:35 pmIn absence of Will, no other short cuts.
Property will be transferred to your mother, sister and yourself.Later, mother and sister have to execute release deed. Then property will be in your name.
This is the story of every household

March 20, 2025 at 5:12 amIn absence of a Will, Correct way would be to transfer property in 3 people name and later the other two execute a release deed at the sub registrar office.Simply transferring part ownership with NOC is not acceptable.

March 19, 2025 at 5:31 amSelf defence is ok as long as it’s proportional to what the other person did.
Eg. If someone is teasing, verbally abusing or slaps you, you cannot stab him to death and call self defence. If the other person is armed with intent to kill then you can retaliate with the same intent or if a robber enters your house with a knife, then you can kill him and call self defence. So the key is the reaction must be proportional to the action.

March 19, 2025 at 4:58 amThey need a NOC from you for which they need your ID. Although not needed for transaction, buyers ask this to avoid problems in the future especially if seller is senior citizens.Instead of NOC, they can also request you to sign as a witness on the sale deed.
