March 24, 2025 at 9:38 amHonestly its best to escape the situation then get stuck in it. Your experience was unpleasant but you will find that the hotel and the police will gang up to shut your issue down.Move to an alternate hotel and try and get on with you vacation.
I was robbed in a hotel – and the police and hotel took the position that their doors could not be opened by any unauthorized person. And the hotel staff were above all suspicion. The only way I could have been robbed was by hotel staff – considering the time of the theft and who had access to the floor. Like you, the police refused to file an FIR. I had to reach out to personal contacts in the police to get an FIR registered – even though I knew no investigation or action would follow.

March 24, 2025 at 8:48 amWhile you may have to cost optimise, look to place your employee in another role. If that is not viable, letting the employee go maybe the way forward.Consult with your HR team to advice on the severance process and what you can extend as severance benefits.
Firing someone is extremely unpleasant for all involved.

March 24, 2025 at 7:17 amYour GF needs to take a call on what she is ok with. She will have to deal with this colleague at work and in future they may also have to deal with a superior – reportee scenario. The preferred way would be POSH – it will hamstring his career for a while and he may have no option but to quit.

March 24, 2025 at 7:04 amAll water purifier firms are in the scam category. You buy the product and within 3 months you discover that almost nothing is covered by warranty. On top of that there are a bunch of freelance service companies that try to scam you into taking service from them.March 23, 2025 at 8:11 pm in reply to: What should I do if my ex-boyfriend took out loans in my name without my knowledge? #29204MMegaprashant4593

March 21, 2025 at 1:36 pmA judge can be investigated / tried as an individual. His judgements may undergo a review – but the basic guidance is that – unless a specific review is requested – there will not be blanket review of past judgements. If what you state needs to be applied then several judgements by multiple judges in their last weeks of service would need to be reviewed. Many judges openly indicated strong personal biases in interviews or other forums in the first weeks after retiring. These biases would definitely influenced the judgements.

March 21, 2025 at 7:09 amA judgement by a HC / SC judge sets precedent and is effectively law. Several subsequent cases would have been addressed using judgements passed by the concerned judge.Revisiting all judgements then becomes a major issue as it will upset the life of considerable number of people.

March 9, 2025 at 4:30 pmDefinitely avoid anyone who is blackmailing. Tell her BF that he better delete the video and move on else his life will be destroyed. Besides the legal action and potential jail time, employers too will be informed- which will really mess life up. -
