March 5, 2025 at 1:24 pmOkay it is one thing to receive bad advice and you know what is worse than that? Following it.Please go ahead with your internship. Try IP out. Whoever said IP has no future obviously has no fucking clue about how vigorously companies protect their IP.
Please don’t listen to fools and ‘senior boyfriends’. That really should not be the place where you get guidance. Clearly this friend and her senior boyfriend are living in a cocoon and have no idea about what is happening in courts and the real world.
If you doubt what I am saying, open LiveLaw and see how many reported judgements are all IP related.
Especially now with the advent of AI, IP is getting all the more interesting and sought after.

March 5, 2025 at 1:25 amEasiest solution, put a lot of vinegar, spray it all around the front of your house. Be generous with it.
Unlikely that they will end up defecating or peeing there. Continue the treatment with vinegar for 10/15 days.SSalonipanther485

March 3, 2025 at 12:48 amLol. Beti marr jaye par more important is log kya kahenge. You need to get your priorities straight. Are you concerned about their well being genuinely or what people will say?
If it’s the former, start with FIR and consult a lawyer. Rather consult a lawyer first before you file the FIR so that he gets all the offences in.

March 1, 2025 at 7:34 amYour solution would be to file a consumer case for deficiency of service.
Start with a legal notice.SSalonipanther485

Your past relationship has nothing to do with this, unless you’re cheating on her with your ex.
If you’re back in the US and she is in India DO NOT apply for sponsorship visa or spouse visa if you intend to get divorced.
Stay in USA and engage lawyer in India to file your divorce. Ensure that lawyer pleads that there is no contact between you two and that you’re in USA and she is in India. This is to prevent possible false case for dowry domestic violence etc.

February 26, 2025 at 2:43 amHave you heard of the stock market?Brother you have no case here. There are no losses that are occasioned to you by Mahindra.
Assuming your case here. In order for you to make a case for your loss, you need to prove that when you were buying the car you informed Mahindra that you intend to resell it in the open market for a good price. Then Mahindra advises you that yes your car can go for a good 10 lakhs as a resale value. Then Mahindra lowers its prices. In that case you can say that Mahindra at all times knew that you wanted to resell the car and it lowered it prices, which led to you not getting that 10lakh price but instead you got 8 lakhs. Only in that case will the damages that you seek not be remote.
Also, your losses at this point are “notional losses”. You have not actually suffered any loss or damage.

February 26, 2025 at 2:26 amIt’s like saying I bought a shirt today for 1000 and the next day the store put it up on sale for 500.There is no cheating here on Mahindra’s part. The car was advertised with a particular price. You agreed on that price and you paid it. In return Mahindra gave you a functional car. Contract for sale and purchase ends here.
If Mahindra later decides to reduce prices after 15 days, it is entirely independent of your transaction with them. Mahindra may even decide to give away ten cars for free or at a throwaway price. Doesn’t mean you get the free car or a heavily discounted car.
You have no case here. Nothing on a legal footing or standing. There is no cheating, fraud, breach of contract, nothing.
The only thing that has happened is that your feelings are hurt that you got a bad deal. Had you waited 15 days you would have got a better price.
Moreover, the amount of money you will end up spending on a lawyer, who will take you for a ride, will be more than 2 lakhs that you could have potentially saved.
