March 15, 2025 at 10:04 amWhen an agreement has a term there is no automatic obligation to renew. A clause for notice period is not applicable if agreement has ceased to exist. This is a sub for legal advice whether the advice is to your liking or not.

March 13, 2025 at 8:56 amThe Allahabad High Court has ruled as under:Clause (a) of the GST registration rules only requires proof of ownership of the premises. There is no requirement for the owner to be a sole owner. The lack of a consent letter from all co-owners does not invalidate GST registration, as long as the applicant can provide the necessary ownership documentation. This ruling clarifies that co-ownership alone does not automatically require consent from all co-owners for GST registration. If one co-owner provides ownership proof (such as an electricity bill in their name), GST registration can be granted without the consent of other co-owners.

March 12, 2025 at 11:31 pmFirstly get a good lawyer. The behaviour of the police suggests that he has some connections and is using it. It’s important to convey a message to the police that their actions are being monitored. Now comes the next question of whether you “trespassed and criminally intimidated him”. For proving that he has to produce evidence or witnesses.
The offence is bailable so even if you’re arrested you can get bail. Arresting and jailing a pregnant woman for a petty offence is not likely to look good in a court of law.

March 12, 2025 at 4:47 pmThis is not a movie. A marriage under the special marriage act is solemnised by a registrar and you’re only signing that you know them and the ceremony happened in your presence. If you’re worried that someone will file a fake case of say kidnapping, that can be filed even if you’re not the witness. In fact as a witness you’re better off since the girl would have signed in front of the registrar. The notice would be there in the registrar office etc.
