May 7, 2026 at 8:37 amThe law is that if you were born after 2003, both your parents need to be Indian or at least one should be Indian and one a legal immigrant.Proof of birth either via birth certificate or school leaving certificate (not after 2023) is required.

May 5, 2025 at 1:43 pmWhat complaint can be registered? If it’s for wilful damage to property then they need to produce evidence that you deliberately hit the post with your car with the intention of causing damage. If they are claiming your car hit it because you didn’t exercise enough care , it’ll still need a motor claims tribunal ruling and that will be handled by the insurance company.
Just refuse to pay.

May 5, 2025 at 12:41 pmFirstly if an FIR was filed then the copy must have been handed over to you.Secondly is the vehicle insured ?
Thirdly were you driving rashly and negligently and were under the influence of any intoxicant ?
Fourthly what has happened to the pole and what was repaired ?
If you have insurance then ask them to file a case in the motor claims tribunal. For all other points the police can register an FIR but must produce proof of the same. What is the proof that they have ?

May 5, 2025 at 12:14 amI assume that the numbers you’re talking about are mg/dl. The limit is 30 not 40.If you are a first time offender and only marginally over the line, you may be only subject to fine and counselling. If you are called to court and asked to plead , just agree with the charges, your punishment may be lower.

May 4, 2025 at 2:22 amThere is no such rule. You need an expiry of greater than six months in many countries to enter. There is no minimum wait period before travel if you have the passportMay 2, 2025 at 6:22 am in reply to: Encountered a staged protocol breach near M-town, need help from those who understand legal firewalls (B’luru) #4111SSaratseeker418

May 2, 2025 at 1:26 amYour first paragraph though you speak sarcastically is the law except that you’ll have a cause for action against the person who chopped it off. The person who is the owner of the place where this incident occurred will not be liable unless he had a direct role to play.Trains are vestibuled and passengers and vendors can and do go through other compartments. Given this fact can you prove that the robber didn’t have a ticket or wasn’t a vendor? Also, if you’re robbed in a bus is the bus company liable ? Or if it’s a taxi ? Or your neighborhood mall ?
The parents. You are responsible for your safety.
Please read the law as it exists. Not as you wish it to be.

April 28, 2025 at 6:28 amA product meant to be stored below 25C is not a cold chain product . It just means store away from direct sunlight and would apply to most medicines. Outside temperature over 40c does not mean the contents of the package were exposed to that temperature. Also expired medicine means a medicine whose shelf life has expired. Courier transport of a medicine in a parcel will not result in expiry unless the parcel is left say on the roadside for a few hours.

April 24, 2025 at 2:24 amIt needs four generations.Ancestral property refers to property that is inherited from previous generations without division of shares over a long period of time. As per Hindu law, for a property to qualify as ancestral:
It must have remained undivided for four generations from the paternal side. This would cover the owner’s father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather.
The heirs in the succeeding four generations must have inherited this property by birth without any division or partition of shares.
