The question is unclear. What do you want to prove ?

        There are two questions here

        1. Is it legal ? The answer is self evident, it’s not

        2. Will it affect you ? As far as deposit is concerned if the agreement mentions a figure, you’re not affected in terms of deposit return. As far as your HRA claim is concerned that’ll be limited to 30k. If both are non issues for you, then it’s fine

Unlikely that you’ll get a police clearance if you have a pending case

            As per a 2018 initiative

“For example, a resident of Jaipur, who is temporarily residing in Kolkata, will now be able to apply at a PSK/POPSK under RPO, Kolkata, and does not have to travel all the way back to Jaipur to submit an application for passport at a PSK/POPSK under RPO, Jaipur. The police verification, if necessary, would be conducted at Jaipur. RPO, Kolkata, would print and despatch the passport at the address specified in the passport application form.”

I don’t know the specifics but unless there is proof of liability, there cannot be any case .

What is the documentation on record to show liability of the wife ? The husband may have a liability but unless the wife was part of the business she may not be liable.

@mods an honest query , why so many posts which have nothing to do with legaladvice ?

My dear sir, this has nothing to do with the woman and everything to do with bureaucracy. The point is about the inability of the system to not ask for the father’s name. Also the consequences are for the child not the mother and the child is blameless in the matter

Yes. There is no limit but documentation will be a nightmare

Firstly my dear sir, you are mixing up an ethical question with a legal question. The legal position as per the law is that a child born during a valid marriage is presumed to be the legitimate offspring of parents who had access to each other at the time of conception.

Secondly my limited point was that in all official documents a father’s name is mandatory as per the officials even though there are notifications saying differently. Therefore a woman must argue at every juncture to retain that right. The comment to which I responded had said that such mothers must keep only their name and not include the father.

Try getting a passport without father name.

The agreement on their website seems to suggest that zoomcar has no role to play other than that of a facilitator. The internet is full of complaints about Zoomcar especially with regard to the persons leasing the car giving fake details.

The rental agreement says that the car may not be used for illegal purposes but that won’t be enough to get back your vehicle. You first need to get your name off the FIR or get the court to dismiss the charges. A criminal case hanging over your head is more serious than a car.

You can file a case against zoomcar if they were in charge of checking the lessee’s documentation. But even that will be a longshot.

Before you can approach any court you must approach the EC and ask for reinclusion. It’s only if they refuse can you approach the courts.

But you must file a RTI application under Section 6 of the RTI Act as well as for Section 4 inspection of files, you should ask for information on

Page of the voter roll list which had my name/names earlier and page of the voter roll list in which my name has been deleted

Copy of the notice sent to me before deletion of my name/name

Copy of the hearing sent to me as a result of the notice.

Copy of the public notice issued in the newspaper announcing my name/names for deletion.

All correspondence related to the procedure that led to the deletion of my name

If enough people pursue the RTI method , they may become more careful in the future

Where did the breach occur ? At the level of the bank or at your end ?

Who gave and who took the information?

What are the transactions and how can they be used against you ?

What is the proof you have of the breach and against the persons you feel have accessed your data ?

Without an answer to most of the queries what advice can be given ?
