May 3, 2025 at 8:13 amAnd none of that is a guarantee of a happy marriage. All that is protecting oneself. That’s super important. But THEN there is a pile of work for the partners to do, if they want to be happy.

April 21, 2025 at 7:22 pmUnder existing laws, parking space will be for parking and not for animals.Under existing laws, people won’t be allowed to keep dogs and cats in their parking spaces.
Under existing laws, if your calf is a stray calf roaming around your society like the dogs and cats, it will have legal protection (Real life protection is another matter).

April 20, 2025 at 9:26 amYou are an adult, and so as legally separated as you can be under Indian laws.If you are in a private company in some city and your father is physically elsewhere, it is highly unlikely he can do anything at all to affect your job.
But he can file random cases etc against you perhaps, forcing you to come to the police station and waste your time. But this is difficult.
if you can cut off all communication and contact for a while, that might help. Every conversation and contact with you will give him new ideas.

March 31, 2025 at 3:25 pmCourt marriage will protect them from false cases. From physical violence, no. In fact, they might get more provoked by the news of the court marriage.I personally think families that are capable of physical violence are highly risky. Its best to inform them from very far away! And they should definitely meet a lawyer (somewhere far away) who will advise them on other legal steps they can take.

March 31, 2025 at 2:14 pmDowry became a social evil, leading to domestic violence, murders, suicides, families going broke and killing themselves. Instead of parents willingly doing what they can for their daughters, or gifting her, it became a social expectation. It caused so many problems and was the root cause of a huge number of crimes.
Otherwise, people still gift what they want. Its not called dowry though.

March 26, 2025 at 4:16 amThe law says, the richer person will pay alimony. And when its the woman, she has to pay up.When it doesnt happen, usually its some judge who can’t believe men need support because they are men, too strong, capable etc etc.

March 25, 2025 at 1:57 pmTo answer your question, the partner chose to disregard the relationship – thats the moral answer. The legal answer is, there is nothing like ‘disregarding’ relationship. There is separation, dispute, divorce.
Cheating is an immoral act – but thats not a legal issue. Laws *try* not to legislate people’s morality or immorality. And also because why someone cheats is a highly complex issue in some cases, and courts dont want to get into personal problems or the bedroom.

March 24, 2025 at 4:53 pmShe has done what she could to immediately make him regret it. Good. The man will probably never come in her life again.Filing an FIR means she has to deal with the event and trauma till he is punished. That’s mental torture of months or years.
From a mental peace point of view, her decision makes sense.

March 8, 2025 at 7:41 pmED is very common at his age. In fact, in the international subs, its often advised to use ED pills, and expand the definition of sex into other kinds of intimacy (toys, oral etc).Back to your question. First of all, meet a divorce lawyer. They would be able to tell you the best way to move towards a divorce. It may even be possible that 2 years of separate living might be a major factor even if the husband refuses. Also, its possible that when you actually move out, he may find it better and be more OK with a divorce.

February 2, 2025 at 4:03 pmThere are retreats like that. There is one on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. So yes, it can be done.
What will make it accceptable or not legally will be its credibility. If a court can be convinced that its a religious experience, then yes, it will be allowed. This is not easy. It can be done, in theory.
