May 7, 2025 at 3:15 amYou wanna go through all that hassle for 1 month rent ? I can assure you it will not be worth it.
1 month passes fairly quickly. You file legal complaint – you case date itself may be few months later.Just use the time wisely to look for the next PG or other room to share.

Are you planning to apply for trademark at USPTO?
If it is the same class and the other guy is definitely having this from earlier, then you will be at a disadvantage always. Even if you get approval you will always be at a danger. One thing to remember is that the US legal system is very predatorial. It need not be the original owner to file a lawsuit. There are law firms who specialize in this , they seek out potential infringements and gray areas and file on behalf of the first guy promising them a cut of whatever they get from you and the first guy will agree as they have nothing to lose.

April 30, 2025 at 3:16 amNAL – but then – this is more career advice than legal advice.
sometimes our job is just to pay the bills and put food on the table and cannot stoke our passions. We are mostly very clear on what we DO NOT want to do but not so clear on what we want.
There are many questions that you need to ask yourself in order to figure it out.Suppose your boss tells you that you have full and absolute control to define your role:
– What would you do ? What is does your ideal work day / work week look like ?
And imagine that this is going to repeat.. and keep repeating (Yes !! welcome to real life)UUrbannadia6400

“Should I pay nor not?”
Did you have a rental agreement with her? – or subletting agreement?
Is she your friend ? or acquaintance?
In most cases, it is illegal to sublet. if you have a contract then it depends on the contract.
If you do not have a contract then it depends on what your relationship is worthUUrbannadia6400

April 29, 2025 at 5:51 amShe sounds like a rather pampered person who may have got everything she asked for if she cried sufficiently for it. Just block her and ignore her. The worst that you can do is to actually give in even one little bit. That would only encourage her and feed her behavior.April 29, 2025 at 1:37 am in reply to: Can government legally destroy houses of suspected terrorists? #6122UUrbannadia6400

April 29, 2025 at 1:17 amNAL.Can’t see anything good coming out of this.
Do your cost-benefit analysisFirstly lot of housing societies have their rules regarding running commercial activities out of residential spaces.
Secondly – what are the conditions of the Tenancy Agreement that you have signed with her (hope you have one). Normally the rent/lease agreements would mention such conditions.Secondly – what happens in the eventuality that you need to evict the tenant? What happens if the LLP has legal issues and your property gets involved in the dispute since its the registered address?
Sure, of course – you can prove you have nothing to do with it but at what cost?

April 28, 2025 at 8:45 amNAL.Lump sum instead of monthly. Absolutely.
Get a clean break. Get out. Move on.
Else the scenario would be your ex-husband can stop anytime due to any number of issues.
For eg- he loses his job, he can plea to the court.. then the court may reduce or waive until he finds another job.. he may cite medical emergency.. etc.He may do this multiple times…. and everytime you will need to run around the courts…

April 16, 2025 at 3:10 pmThe standard is usually 1 month notice period or 1 months pay. It goes both ways. The company basically yold your gf her last date is 1 month from now. That is the way to look at it.
It’s nothing personal. Best to deal with it professionally and serve the Notice period. 1 month passes very fast.
Think longer term. Does your girlfriend not intend to put this company in her CV? Will future employers never check references with this company? History is asset in the professional world. Be mature and serve the Notice period.

April 16, 2025 at 7:34 am“I went to police station and there she said that either live with me or pay 25 Lakhs.”You need to get out. ASAP.
1. Get some evidences such as recordings.
2. Talk to lawyer & Follow lawyers advice (find a lawyer through reference, so that you can have some sort of trust/faith in him)You will certainly need to pay, but hopefully not 25L
