Police verification of tenants is not mandatory in most parts of the country. Check the bylaws of your housing community regarding this matter. If the bylaws require police verification for tenants, you can raise a complaint with the society/management to initiate legal action.

                1. You have absolute right over the ancestral property and your uncle shouldn’t have sold it without your consent/permission.

                2. Both men and women have equal and absolute right over the ancestral property.

                3. File a suit for cancellation of sale deed (the document through which your uncle sold the property to the third party) and suit for partition making your uncle and the buyer of the ancestral home as parties. Consult a good lawyer asap.

                Good Luck!

                      1. 79 bns deals with insulting the modesty of a woman. Since it is a cognizable offense, there is no need to file a separate bail application. The police will most likely issue a 41A notice, which protects you from arrest until the chargesheet is filed and the case goes to trial. But, I recommend consulting a good lawyer asap, as there is reasonable suspicion that the police are being influenced by the gf and could be engaging in malpractice.

                      2. Adultery is not a crime in India, even if the person committing adultery is married. Also, the money your friend spent on her was consensual. Even if he files an FIR, she will most likely be acquitted. That said, he could still file it if his intention is to drag her through the courts.

                      3. File a petition to quash the FIR. In my personal experience, most baseless and false FIRs like this get quashed. Pending the disposal of the quash petition, you may also get a stay on the FIR proceedings, which will prevent the police from bothering you further.

Stay strong! You’ll get through this.

you can approach the labour court or company law tribunal aswell instead of civil court. It’s better if you consult a lawyer with all the required documents and evidence so that he can guide you as to which forum to approach.

acha ok. but you spending 20k for a hearing is what bothers me without the case moving forward. my suggestion is- there are many young talented advocates who might help you out for considerably lesser fee. They take money upfront and won’t keep charging you for every hearing.

                                  >it involves beating some people with punches as per report.

ya, figured it from the provisions mentioned.

                                  >Plus how do I get stay over FIR?

consult an efficient lawyer. A quash against FIR has to be filed before the High Court of your state and you can obtain a stay from there. Since you are A9, there’s a good chance a stay will be granted to you.
