February 26, 2025 at 11:03 amYou should wait for a good settlement offer. Your CIBIL may take a hit if you don’t pay it off, but other than that you don’t need to be afraid.Hope things look better for you in the future.

February 26, 2025 at 10:59 amEach state generally has their special law to regulate moneylenders.
Was this person a registered moneylender?Did your brother sign an agreement? Dis he hand over signed cheques?
Need a lot of clarity on facts here.

February 22, 2025 at 5:21 amYou would have to file a case, notices rarely suffice.
Did you have insurance on shipping?
Also, are you sure it wasn’t damaged during shipping?CCleversajal8453

February 20, 2025 at 11:38 amUnless the damage was major, you don’t have a cause for worry.
Generally smaller incidents go unreported as no one wants to go through the hassle of making and following up on a complaint. It is only done in cases of major damages when the car owner needs to make an insurance claim.
Even if it is reported, you just offer to cover the repair cost, police won’t pursue the case. Offer a little extra cash, and the complaint will be withdrawn.
This isn’t a major offence for which you would be punished.
Not a major cause for worry.CCleversajal8453

February 19, 2025 at 2:51 amThis is most likely just a bluff, from what you have stated he does not seem to have any case for claiming any maintenance from you as he has his own means of sustenance.
You don’t have a cause to be worried, just be very careful when you are talking to your parents or anyone that may be talking to you on their behalf.February 17, 2025 at 4:14 am in reply to: My mosaji left my mosi with a huge home loan. Flat about to be auctioned. Need Help. #53691CCleversajal8453

February 17, 2025 at 4:14 amMy sympathies with you, but the information is insufficient.
Is this a scheduled or a co-operative Bank? You will have to check all the details, see if SARFAESI has been invoked and what process has been followed.
Civil courts may not be able to intervene, and you may have to approach the zonal Debt Recovery Tribunal.
Approach a local lawyer with all the notices and the mortgage deed at the earliest.CCleversajal8453

February 17, 2025 at 4:10 amUnpaid internships are often the norm.
I graduated in 2018, and money was generally tight.
I moved to practice locally post COVID, and kept my expenses low by staying at home. Entering litigation is like a Startup, and we rarely get any funding.
Hope your experience improves soon.February 17, 2025 at 4:00 am in reply to: Secured an anticipatory bail for my client in Delhi. #53042CCleversajal8453

February 17, 2025 at 3:58 amUnless the primary victim (your aunt) approaches the police with a complaint, your report on his behaviour relating to her will not be taken seriously. Worse, if you complain and she refures your claims, police will scold you for interfering.
Distance yourself as much as you can from their household, and complain only if his behaviour directly impacts or is threatening to you directly.
Generally, from my experience, no one has changed because another person asked them to – the same would apply to your uncle.February 17, 2025 at 3:47 am in reply to: Need Help! Someone obtained compromising material of me. Is it the end? #52622CCleversajal8453
