You can ask them, but how would a written notice each time they called you for investigation be a proof that you showed up? Compliance at your end can have some other proof.

You can serve upon him a legal notice, demanding your monies, also intimating that non-return will attract civil/criminal consequences. That might instill some fear within him and you may get your money back.

Hi. I’m a Delhi based lawyer. Filing an anticipatory bail is the best decision at this point. Section 41A Notice is typically served at the beginning of an investigation, when the police first require the presence of the accused, and subsequent appearances by the accused are usually facilitated through other means, such as verbal or written instructions from the investigating officer. However, the procedure may vary depending on the nature of the case.

The time to initiate legal proceedings against him basis the bounced cheque has long passed. But you can surely file a police complaint against him and try getting your money back. Civil remedy is going to have you running in and around courts for years, and is less of a pressure tactic.

This is so typical of Swiggy! Trust me, forgive them and move on. Choose your battles, and this one isn’t worth it- and this is coming from a lawyer 🙂

When you’re good, you get noticed. Apart from that, you need to network aggressively.

Hello. I’m a Delhi based lawyer. Restraint of trade clauses must be reasonable, only then they’re considered valid and enforceable under certain circumstances. Else they’re considered to be in violation of Sec 27 of contract act. Happy to discuss.

Well begun is half done- And that’s so true. Keep the faith, work hard, love what you do and look at those who inspire you and not those who pull you back. Everyone has a different story, so don’t say that because he failed, so will I. The harder you work, the better you get at it.

It’s not that you cannot earn good money in litigation. Initially, during your learning phase, it might fetch you a lesser income but with hard work and experience, you’ll definitely get there. Ironically, the people who pay you the least in litigation teach you the most. Or else you can apply at law firms, that pay you a hefty amount, but that ground level experience will mould you like no other. Good luck!

Ya you can file a consumer complaint for medical negligence. Send legal notice before that.

I think that’s the question your employer can answer best.

Why don’t you send them a legal notice in that case?

You must take strict legal action against the police as well as against Rapido, as it would have costed you your life, had you not shown some bravery..I’m sure the Court of law will come to your rescue. For any kind assistance/advise that you may ever need in this matter, please feel free to reach out.
