May 3, 2025 at 7:50 amHi. I’m a Delhi based lawyer. As a first step, send them a legal notice asking for replacement of the fridge and refund of all the ancillary expenses you may have incurred on it till now, for repair. In addition to that, a hefty amount towards all the mental agony caused to you in the process. Incase you don’t wish for replacement of the fridge, ask for refund of the amount paid for purchase of the fridge. If it doesn’t do you any good, file a consumer complaint.May 3, 2025 at 6:25 am in reply to: Seeking Advice for a Friend Going Through a Marital Crisis #3519DDesiknight9081

May 3, 2025 at 6:25 amHi. I’m a Delhi based lawyer, with an extensive background experience in matrimonial matters. Since they haven’t been married for a year, let alone living apart for that period of time, a divorce petition cannot be filed at the moment. However, their marriage can be annulled basis the grounds for annulment provided under law.DDesiknight9081

May 1, 2025 at 4:44 pmHi. I’m a Delhi based lawyer. How many days apart were the several reports? The general defence we take in such matters is that test reports days apart cannot be compared medically, especially if the patient is suffering from some medical condition. There are various factors that come into play that lead to contrary reports and doesn’t always amount to deficiency in service and medical negligence.DDesiknight9081

May 1, 2025 at 10:26 amHi. I’m a Delhi based lawyer, specialising in family matters. As you have been rightly advised, please file a police complaint against him. Don’t think there will be an issue in registration of FIR, considered the facts of the matter. If you do nothing, he will keep victimise you all, knowing well you can’t do anything against him. Such men/husbands don’t learn till someone shocks their senses, so the first step is what’s been stated above. In addition to that, you must file a DV petition against him, and your mother will be absolutely fine if she’s represented well, as the law is completely in her favour.DDesiknight9081

May 1, 2025 at 10:07 amHi. I’m a lawyer here. Legal action won’t help. You can probably try looking for someone who would be interested in attending the concert and can purchase the tickets from you, if you’re okay to buy them fully and if you’re sure about the authenticity of the deal.DDesiknight9081

May 1, 2025 at 5:08 amOkay. Because the timelines differ state wise. It could take about 4-7 days, or in worst cases a month or so. In Haryana, it can be obtained on the same day when it’s applied for. So it’s best to wait for a few days and you should have it.May 1, 2025 at 3:21 am in reply to: American man scammed twice in S India (Mysore, Pondicherry) #4820DDesiknight9081

April 30, 2025 at 6:20 pmYa but there is not just one victim here right! And for someone who is obsessed with harassing you all, and is stopping at nothing, ignorance is not the solution.
