You will have to file a revision before the District Court, make sure to produce evidence there and seek for the case to be sent back.
65% is excessive, try to get it reduced to 40% of your in-hand income.

Assuming you are Hindus, you can file a suit for your shares under the Hindu Succession Act, seeking a share of the property and possession thereof, and cancellation of any deeds you haven’t signed.

I don’t think so, but your bank may have some such rules.

Banks are required to keep an inventory in such a situation in the presence of witnesses, but aren’t obliged to value it.
I don’t think this is standard practice.

I can understand your pain, but simpliciter approaching any authority is not likely to solve any problems.
Worse case scenario, he loses out on the only outlet he has as of now (you).

Unfortunately India doesn’t have a framework like a Child Protective Services, and the only alternative generally is approaching some of the police teams dealing with such issues.
However, the legal route is likely to increase his problems unless he wants to live elsewhere, as the physical abuse may be substituted with gaslighting and increased curbs on his freedom, withdrawing him from your class etc, which leaves him with even fewer outlets for his emotions.
If you can, just give him a patient ear and let him know that you would be there for him, atleast that way he can talk to you unfettered.

FIR is not something you can cancel simpliciter like this, only the High Courts have that kind of power.

Depending on the kind of court, ignoring summons may result in your case getting dismissed (higher chance as it was for a relatively low value theft) or a bailable warrant may be issued (very less chance as courts are already overburdened with other cases).

If you can, enquire with a lawyer at Delhi if the court has VC facility and you can appear through VC.

The better thing would be to file a complaint before he approaches the authorities, you will need it for insurance purposes as well.

If you give in, there is a good chance that the other person will keep asking for higher amount (to the extent you give in).

Generally Police file the chargesheet and criminal case is registered in 90 days, if the money is still traceable in Indian Accounts then you have a good chance of getting your money back.

Once you raise the proper complaint, you will have the option of not paying on the ground of fraudulent transactions.

No legal bar as such, but a lot of small headaches in the future.
