February 23, 2025 at 7:14 pmWork through your divorce. A registered marriage means you are married.
You can work out the terms of settlement or alimony. Either she waives alimony or opts for a one time settlement. At worst – you will have alimony to pay. Her earnings plus your responsibilities means the amount may be smaller.February 23, 2025 at 1:51 pm in reply to: 120 Days of Silence: Suspended, Banned & Stranded for Speaking Up #48666MMegaprashant4593

February 23, 2025 at 1:51 pmIf you have been fired – move on. You can continue to pursue your legal options .Airports and airlines are public places and public services. You cant be barred from going there. You cant be placed on a no-fly list without a proper investigation – for issues caused at the airport. Definitely not for workplace issues – unless they impact the air services.
Critiquing your employer on any forum is a career limiting move. Even if its anonymous.
Lastly challenging your employer is just going to negatively affect you – even if you win – they can still terminate you.

February 23, 2025 at 1:42 pmA rule for social media – dont post anything – which you dont want people to say to you. Post only if it makes a positive contribution.A simple test for a post- suppose you posted on the PM’s handle – would the ED be sent to get you after your post. If it may trigger the ED – then dont bother to post.
Otherwise – best not to post whatever the temptation or provocation.

February 23, 2025 at 1:17 pmThe guy is saying he is broke. You have borrowed what was not really yours – without permission and gave it to him.Have a chat with your wife. The conversation will not be pleasant for you – but its better that you tell her how you will compensate her considering that you have a low chance of getting any of the money back.
You can at best get an acknowledgement from your friend for the loan and frame terms of repayment – try getting this done on a agreement. Your chances of getting money back – still low – as this was an unsecured loan. The paperwork is to give you a sense of satisfaction – and you can hope that if your friend has better days in future – he may atleast repay you some of the money.

February 22, 2025 at 4:51 amIncentives are planned such that it’s a pain to walk away from. When you switch jobs you should target a net increase of 20% + compared to your annual take home currently. Switching for a lesser hike usually doesn’t make sense unless you have to switch at any cost due to other reasons.
A better position and compensation should be given weight age over a bonus.

February 22, 2025 at 4:45 amYour severance pay should equal salary for the notice period. Check your terms of employment wrt notice period. If it’s zero days, you will get nothing. If there is a notice period, you can follow up or complain to the labour commissioner. Not paying a termination compensation would also potentially indicate financial distress in the company, as they usually don’t want ex employees bad mouthing them. So check with friends from work.
Terminations are effective immediately as company’s want to ensure the employee doesn’t create problems of any kind.

February 21, 2025 at 2:38 pmWont work – as in order to process a quick exit and get the approvals – you will be asked to submit a copy of the document. Plenty of people with fauji connections will be sitting in HR – so fake letters can be career limiting,If you really want to exit talk to your manager to check for a quick exit or offer to buy out your notice.

For the medical case they will actually recommend that you stay and serve full notice so that you get the benefit of the medical insurance.Excuses may also backfire – as they may share not positive feedback when contacted for background checks.
One that may work is a your joining letter for a govt job or the armed forces.
